Blog Set Up??!!

OK, I'm going to try and actually post a blog. For anyone who doesn't know me personally, I'm not very technically gifted. But my wife and I decided to take our family on a "trip of a lifetime" with our kids to summer this year, and I wanted to create a blog to keep family and friends up to date with our travels back home, as well as keep a journal of our travels for later. So we are now about 45 days from our departure date, and I have a huge "To-Do" list that I need to start tackling before it gets too close. One of the things on the list is to start a travel blog, so this is the inaugural entry. I have no clue how to format my blog, add pictures, add videos, etc. but I guess just starting is the first step.
